TTC ladies - question

Ok so i've only been off BC since August and i'm not quite sure what my cycles are like anymore since i've been on BC for ever!  We started trying later in August and i'm supposed to get AF last friday (if I have a 28 day cycle) but she still hasn't come!  I feel like she is (cramping etc) but nothing.  This is what happened last time with C but we were trying for a few months.  I took a test on Sunday and it was negative.  Would it be accurate at this point or should I try again this weekend?  Or maybe my body is playing tricks....Thoughts?

    I have basically no experience with BC, so I'm bumping this up for the ladies that do.

    Unless you've got a bunch of cheapies I'd probably wait until Friday to test since you don't actually know what your cycle length is.

    It's hard to know how long your cycle is going to be.  I had my Mirena removed in February and my cycles started out being about 35 days and are now right around 31 days.  I would wait till this weekend to test again.  You may have ovulated late.

    Ditto pps. The most likely explanation is that you ovulated later than CD14. I'd probably test again on Sunday, then maybe once a week or so until AF shows. It's not uncommon to have longer and/or irregular cycles especially after coming off of birth control, but if the uncertainty is stressful for you, you may consider charting next cycle.

    Good luck! You're not out 'till AF shows, so I'll cross my fingers for you.
