So I want to take DD to see Finding Nemo. Our theatre is offering one showing a day non-3D. I'm deciding whether she'd do good in the 3D version or if I should just take her to the non-3D.
I took DD to a 3D Imax movie a couple of months ago and she liked it a lot. I had to show her that she had to look through the glasses, and she tried to take them off a couple of times, but overall she watched and left them on. She's pretty good in movies, though, so it just depends on your kid, I think.
We took DD to Beauty and the Beast in 3D just after she turned 2. She didn't like the glasses and watched the whole movie without them. I think she may wear the glasses now that she is a little older and likes to wear her sunglasses.
We just took our daughter to Finding Nemo 3D on Tuesday. She did really well. I would say she wore the glasses about half the time. I think they just didn't fit her all that great. I say try it in 3D. Its no big deal if the glasses don't stay on.
If our theater has a non 3D showing, I'll take DD to that showing. I took DD to Beauty and the Beast 3D and she wouldn't keep the glasses on, which made the screen look unusual to her and the movie just didn't keep her attention. For the life of me, I couldn't convince her to keep the glasses on her face!
