I am so sick of having a bunch of pairs that don't fit right; I would rather spend a little more and get just a couple of pairs that actually look decent. Any recommendations?

if your willing to spend the dough, for some awesome jeans that look great, i would check out Bloomingdales. Sevens, joes, citizens...all good stuff. I used to buy my jeans there :-/

American Eagle
These. ^ If you don't feel like shelling out the dough, go to the store and try them on to find out what size you wear in each brand, then go hunt them down on Ebay. I've gotten all of the above brands there in really great condition, and paid no more than $10.00 per pair. Of course, you have to commit your time to watching & bidding, but for me its been worth it.

I third this. I have hated my jeans for the longest time. They just never fit right. But I recently got some boot cut jeans from American Eagle, and I love them! They don't stretch out too much during the day, which is so nice.
I just recently got a few pairs from Old Navy. They have a few different styles and fortunately they come in shorter lengths for shorties like me. I think they were like 30 bucks.
Silver jeans are awesome! I wore them all through high school. I actually still have a pair but they're just a liiiittle snug.
