Is Emma short for anything?

I posted a while ago about my 1 year old that wanders around in search of Emma! Haha He's still doing it, and we found out today that IT'S A GIRL!

I still love the idea of naming her Emma, but I've always preferred longer names. Is there anything out there (other than Emily) that Emma can be short for?

Also, I'm having a tough time with the middle name. The only family names we have is Rose or Elizabeth, but I feel like there are probably a billion Emma Elizabeth and Emma Rose out there Sad

Emma Rose is a lovely name, but I personally know four of them under the age of three.

I like Emmaline for a longer name. Though I'll be honest Elizabeth Rose would get my vote. So many great nicknames for Elizabeth. Liddy, Betsy, etc.

My cousin stole the name Elizabeth Rose for his daughter a year ago! It's so pretty!

I know someone who named her little girl Emmaline. She is the cutest little girl and the name seems perfect for her. I love the name!
