The little things can be so exciting!

The weather has just gotten significantly cooler and I have ha to put all of dd's summer clothes away to make room for fall clothes. last year dd wore 2 fleeces all the time both 18 months. Yes they were big on her she wore them over sweaters and they were long. Because she has grown so much I didn't think I'd have a chance of them fitting her again this year but I was takin dd for a walk this morning and tried one of them and it fits! She may get another few months wear out of it.
Now on to cutting the feet off her fleece pjs to get a couple months wear out of them lol!

Re: The little things can be so exciting!

  • Yeah, I totally slacked on getting fall clothes because it was so darn hot until recently.  I was so excited when his jeans from the Spring still fit, and that his hoodies still fit too.

  • It's just starting to get cool enough here to at least dress warmly in the morning. Yesterday it was gray most of the day and I was so excited!

I still need to sort through DS's (and my) clothes. I'm holding off, though, because there's still plenty of potential for an Indian summer here in CA. I don't want to be stuck without his shorts and t-shirts if the temp goes up!

  • Oh yeah, we definitely have the potential for an Indian Summer still, so I still have all of his shorts and SS shirts out too.
  • I love fall! It's my favorite season.

Sam's grandmas have been knitting up a storm and he has an amazing collection of fair isle sweaters waiting for the cool weather. We are in British Columbia, and it's been 30 here non stop. :(
