Flavoring Neocate

My son has been on Neocate since he was about 4 months old, and is now almost 2 due to a milk and soy allergy. We have been working with the doctors to ween him off of the neocate, and on to hemp milk, but it has not been easy. He has been doing well with eating, and doesn't need a lot of the formula to meet his nutritional needs, but we have been letting him have one splash box at night before bed (since it is really a struggle with the hemp milk). Currently our insurance is no longer paying for it, and I am almost out of the splash, which I would prefer not to have to buy, but I do have a couple cases of the unflavored neocate.

Has anyone had any luck flavoring it for an older child to take it? I just don't want to have to get rid of it, since we have so much, and we are a long way off from weening, so I would have to buy more of the splash. I know they used to sell flavor packets for flavoring, but I can't find them on the website anymore.

    I would call neocate, they are very helpful.  Our gi recommended vanilla when DS was older and having trouble getting him to drink it unfortunately that was over a year ago so I don't remember how much.

    I would call Neocate and ask about the flavor packets too.  With every case of Neocate you buy (4 cans), you get a free sample of the flavor packets.

    Neocate also sells flavor straws that my children LOVE. We are not longer using Neocate (been about a year), but they still use the flavor straws to drink milk. Good luck!
