I got fed up with Goodman & Partridge and went for a shot in the dark with New Horizon's Women's Care in Chandler. I've seen a few reviews and they have all been good. Has anyone been there before? I have little patience with doctors lately....
Same thing happened to me and I switched to New Horizons! So happy that I did! I work at Chandler and talked to other nurses that work on postpartum and many of them suggested them! I have seen many of the doctors in the office, but my favorites are Villa, Swarup and Dr Moore delivered us. He was amazing too!
The office staff is very nice too. I am very pleased with them and would never go back to G&P... And a couple of the Docs there have said they get that a lot from patients!
I've done the same thing! After a lot of review reading for New Horizon's, I decided to go there and ditch G&P. I don't have my appt until Thursday though. PP definitely helped me feel better about my move though!
Thanks!

I'm so glad to hear these reviews! I get nervous with doctors and this isn't the best time to be stressed about it!! I'm really anxious for my first visit with them (8/13) and it's with Villa.
I go there! I absolutely LOVE my doctor!!! I had a friend that also went to goodman and partridge and had a horrible experience and another who just had her baby through them and her out of pocket dr fees were almost double mine (we have the same insurance, our husbands work together) I go to Dr Andrew Villa, but I've met most of them and they're all awesome!
We went there for our first three children. If you are going for the typical hospital birth, they are great. We had to do a lot of advocating to have the natural births that we wanted since not all the docs are natural birth friendly.
If you are thinking you want a natural birth in a hospital setting, I suggest the following midwifery practices:
Midwives at Valley Women For Women
Midwives @ Boojum under Dr. Kells
MomDoc Midwives
Best wishes - finding the care provider that fits your personality and your birth wishes is the best way to have the birth that you want for your baby.

I second the Valley Women for Women. I am working with them for my VBAC and they have been awesome!
I second Boojum in Chandler. Dr. David Kells is good but his mid-wives are great. The office was comfortable during my visits and they answered all my questions without rushing me. I would go there again in a heart beat. They are now called iWoman's Health Care.
