I know we cherish TMZ as a news source, so I'm posting this. Don't worry too much, it's on real news sources too.

For people (like me) that just want the photo version:
I mean, did he REALLY think that would go unnoticed???
Re: Sorry for the anti-gay slur

I agree.
That's BS. Sure, there are guys who use that term on their friends and some find it funny, BUT it is in general consider rude to use that word and I only know one meaning for it.
One thing is true, here in the caribbean that word is taken WAY lightler than it is in english speaking countries, but that is sad and regrettable, not an excuse. Besides, he should had considered the context.
What was the point of that, anyways?
My BFP Chart
This story has been kind of a big deal around here (I am from Toronto but living in the 'burbs now). Way to represent Toronto, fool (. Makes our dismal baseball team look even worse). And don't give me that crap about 'the meaning gets lost in translation' and 'it's not as bad as it sounds'. Directly translated, the phrase means "you are a F****" (rhymes with maggot) Seriously buddy? Did you NOT think this would cause an uproar? I speak 4 languages, 2 fluently and 2 not so well, but i know enough Spanish to know that phrase is offensive.
Now people are trying to come in from all angles saying there is no way he could have written on his face that well, someone must have done it (which would still be stupid if true). He says he wrote it and takes all responsibility for it. WHAT? Regardless of who wrote it, it is offensive and a very, very dumb move. He's been suspended for 3 games and the money he would have made ($92,000 by the way *eyeroll*) must be donated to a GLAAD organization, and he has to take sensitivity training. There is a lot of talk about it in the sports section of www.thestar.com but as controversial as this story is, i fail to see how it's more important than the story about the intruder who broke into half a dozen homes in one night and even sexually assaulted a few senior citizens.
