Gift from baby?

Is anyone else planning on getting the big sister/brother a gift from baby to give at the hospital? I have a 3.5 yr old daughter and I thought it would make her feel special and start a great bond with my two girls to show her how important and special she is for being a big sister. I need help with ideas.. I was thinking maybe a big sister necklace and another "fun" gift. What would you give a 3.5 yr old?

    We're  (the baby) giving our 2 yr old DD a dollhouse. Maybe a charm bracelet w a big sister charm.

    We are giving our 2 year old DS a big truck that does all sorts of cool things (he is obsessed with trucks!) and a big brother book we can read in the hospital together.

    We plan on getting DD a gift from her baby sister, but haven't decided on the gift just yet.

    I gave DS1 a gift from DS2 when he came, but I won't this time.  The boys already have a sibling, I don't think it will be as much of a shock as it was for DS1 (going from only child to having a brother).  Plus, it's so close to Christmas, they will be getting enough presents.

    I hadn't planned on giving a gift from baby, but I do have a few small things to give DD when folks come wit gifts for baby.  I like the idea if a big sister book though.  We definitely don't need more toys!

    I'm doing a bag or basket with a big sis necklace, big sis shirt, coloring books and stamping stuff (I figured she can use some of that to stay busy at the hospital if she gets bored).

    I have a 2.5 year old and I also want her to be involved as much as possible. LO will be giving her big sis a gift....it's a beautiful tutu since that is what DD is really into right now. I can't wait to see my girls together for the first time. I'm sure you are super excited too.    Smile
