  • Oh sad.

I started getting adult acne when I was 23. I use acne free and love it. As long as I keep using at least the face wash, I don't have breakouts.

  • I really like the neutrogena products. They have worked the best for me. There is a scrub I use in the shower and then a lotion-pastey thing I use when I get out. I've never found anything else to work as well.

  • I've been using the neutrogena and it's just getting worse... I'll have to try the acne free I guess!!

  • I used Proactiv for a long time and it worked really well for me. However, it ruined all my towels, faceclothes and pillowcases! It bleached everything out.

I now use OXY?s Emergency Acne Vanishing Facial Cleanser. It works really well for me and I have terrible skin.

  • H uses Proactiv and swears by it. But, like PP said, invest in some white towels unless you want everything to turn orange and have bleach spots.

  • Bummer :(  I have had acne for.ever (I am 32).  I stopped using actual stuff that is for acne...I think it was too harsh for me and making things worse.  I use the Formula 10.0.6 line from Ulta's website.  Sorry I can't make it clicky:

And being dairy free has really helped too, but that is not recommended :)

ETA: I guess Chrome automatically makes links clicky, who knew....

  • Oh, I have a vitamin rec. I started taking 100 mg a day of vitamin b6 when I had ms and I noticed that my acne was GONE after a few weeks. Turns out it helps. I had no idea it was a "side effect." I've been taking it ever since.

  • Give whatever you use at least 2 weeks before deciding. A lot of the time people think a product is not good because their skin is 'getting worse' but really it's that it's working and getting all sorts of stuff out of the skin and through the surface. Unclogging. :)

That being said, bare escentuals has awesome skin care! And I really love their make up. Although I work for them, my skin is seriously improving from using their products. I have worked for Lanc?me, Est?e Lauder and clinique and bare escentuals is by far my fave. There's nothing added in that's harmful for your skin. I love itttt. I use their brightening peel pads, transformation night treatment and their moisturizer. They also have a spot blemish treatment. I usually have like 5 zits on my face, sometimes they are small, but I have NONE right now! And you don't need good skin to wear their makeup-I have super uneven skin and need a full coverage and I get the best coverage from them and it looks natural, like my skin. Lol I totally sound like a commercial. But it's the truth yo!
