Finally. POO. (day 8)

He had a total of 5 prunes yesterday in 3 instalments.   He's previously EBF, no solids.  I thought the prunes would be "on top" so to speak, and we'd have the mustard lake for a while before we saw the prunes. No, he's defied physics (chemistry?) and the prunes came first.  

Smelled like DEATH.  omg.  I don't think he's done yet, either.

Do I continue with solids now that we've started? or stick to the BLW at 6 months plan..?

What would you do?

    Personally I would stick to the original blw plan but I know there are a lot of mom's that are feeding solids already.

    We finally got a poop today too!  It wasn't nearly as big as I expected though...I gave him a belly massage and bicycled his legs a lot...he's still doing a LOT of grunting though, so I think he's still a little clogged :P

    Whoa he held out a long time! I would just continue with the original plan for 6 months BLW. I bet he feels better!

    I wish Sam would get the memo, R was pooping once a week at this point. He sharts like 3x a day and has a blowout on top of that. Stop the madness!

    Yay for the poops! I know how you feel anticipating the big one. When DD was 2 weeks old it had been about 5 days and she finally pooped on my birthday. It was the best birthday presant ever.
