  • Baby Clause is 5 months. Assisted sitter still.

  • Pedi said DD should be sitting well at her 6 month appt.

My pedi is also kinda meh so take that with a grain of salt.

  • Jamie can sit for about 3 seconds before toppling to one side or the other. I think they sit by 6 months, though.

  • DS started sitting on his own a week or two after he turned 6 months.

  • Adeline isn't sitting.

  • Ds could sit at 4 months, dd1 didn't sit until 7. Both were completely normal. R will probably be sitting before 6 months.

Edit because my stupid phone randomly attaches words to numbers.

  • Zoe started sitting at about 5 months and is just now steady with it.

  • LOL, jeez Zoe, such a show off!

  • I agree with 6 months. I'd say Camden is ALMOST to the point where he can sit unsupported indefinitely. But he gets so darn excited when he's sitting and kicks his legs 100 miles an hour and knocks himself over.
  • Mila has just started sitting unassisted.  She lasts anywhere from 10 seconds to a few minutes.

Here's the chunk sitting!  Our obese pug is not helping her, I swear Smile

  • Elise is sitting on her own she started a week before turning five months.
  • DS was tripoding at his 6 month appointment last week, but sitting steady today. I was so excited!

  • Ada started getting decent at it this week.  She can kind of sit and play for a little bit, maybe 30 seconds and then she topples over.  She still leans forward a lot and puts weight on her hands to help herself stay steady though.

  • Every baby is different. Taylina was sitting for short periods of time at 4 months already, now she can sit on her own for longer periods of time but topples over when she get's to excited about her toys or something she sees.

  • My DD isn't sitting either and doesn't seem too close. If I take my hand away even for a second she topples over!

  • Patti was doing the tripod sit at 4 months and sitting steady by 4 1/2 months. I think she just wants to keep up with her big brother.
