B still puts things in his mouth all.the.time. We took a walk this weekend and in two blocks he managed to pick up 1 acorn, 2 rocks, and a snail shell. All but the acorn went in his mouth.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to worry about this by now. Does your kid still pop anything and everything in their mouth?
Re: Still mouthing?
Yes. Drives me nuts.
In the less than one hour she was up and I was with her this morning I had to pull: a stuffed monkey's tail, her CPK's hand, the corner of a book, the wrong end of the fork, her hand (x 5), and the old man of the "community people" at daycare out of her mouth.

What is it about the wrong end of silverware that is so appealing? I don't get it. Glad to know we're not alone.

He's just globally-minded!
It did sound like he said "d'accord" the other day (French for 'okay')...

I consider all these normal things to put in her mouth at this point. I only bother stopping her if it's electronic, paper, or something she found under the couch. I can't wait till she stops doing this, but I don't have high hopes, maybe by age 5.
