... that the 3rd trimester is the longest? I'm almost 29 weeks. So like 11 weeks doesn't seem that long but everyone keeps telling me that it will take forever. Im honestly sick if hearing about how I'm not even close when I feel like the countdown has begun!
Just curious if you ladies have found this trimester to be terribly long...??

This, unfortunately!

OMG NOOOO I was hoping you ladies would tell me about how its just freakin zipping on by... of course, it only makes sense that the anticipation would slow time-space by half.
I have several things to break up my wait. Think that helps at at all?
10/11 - last ultrasound at 32 weeks
10/21 - baby shower
then thanksgiving (whenever that is)
THEN DUE 12/6
fingers crossed that it'll pick up because I can't wait to join in on the mucus plug conversations!!
I think the holidays will make time go by faster! At least I am hoping so.
If you go past your due date though, I am sure it will feel slow then though.
So far it's been flying by for me. 4 weeks left.
I think part of the reason it's going so fast though is that 1) I'm feeling pretty good 2) I'm keeping busy, going out with friends, making the most out of the time with my H before we add another one in the mix.
Yes, it definitely seems the longest, but for me I think that is because I've had easy first and second trimesters, and the sudden aches, pains, etc of third trimester make it drag on.
Yes, definitely for me. You're just so much more uncomfortable. I don't think it's that bad until 34-35 weeks, though, at least for me. But yeah - every day at this point DRAGS. It is rough.
GL!
I have always heard this and am NOT looking forward to experiencing it!
Yup! The last 4 weeks draaaaag for sure! I wish I would have truly enjoyed being like 18-30 wks PG because I really felt AWESOME and never realized it!

It flies when I realize how much I need to do before LO comes. My house needs to be spotless when he's born because I'm not going to be cleaning for the first little bit, but the mess puts me on edge. Also, I'm not letting my midwife see my house a mess and I'm not delivering in a less than spotless and peaceful home.
The day by day though. it drags like mad. It isn't the anticipation so much as the super itchy stretch marks, the way it hurts every time I stand up, or how shopping nearly cripples me. My feet get so swollen that the skin feels sunburned and I'm even retaining water around my belly, which means every little wrinkle and seam digs in, leaves dents, and hurts. Those little details make it drag. It was flying by though until almost 37 weeks.
