My case might be unusual. I skipped the 511 phase all together. By the time I got to the hospital I was ready to go. All in all it took me 4 hours from start of labor to pushing.
It could be a while or not. There is no way for us to tell you. Good luck.

This with both my kids hoping number 3 is the same way.
Oh goodness, I went to the hopsital when they were 5 minutes apart, at about 2:30 a.m. and DD was born at 1:47 p.m. the next day. I only pushed for about 15 minutes, so about 11 hours.
Re: Contractions 5 minutes apart??
It could be awhile
I think I got to push 10 hours later, but I'm the exception rather than the rule.

DS and hr
DD 10 hrs
I never felt contractions 5 minutes apart. Always 3 minutes or less, even from the beginning.
I was ready to push when the contractions were on top of each other.
