Where are y'all buying them? I've looked on Etsy but haven't seen one I like for LO yet (except, if he was a girl I could have bought about 87 already :))

    I have a dream of buying his at pottery barn, but since ours are ugly, cheap ones from Target I am thinking it will look pretty out of place.  But, I may splurge and order the three of us new ones.

    Oh! I was just looking at PBK, they have really cute ones that are $22.  There is one with "Tucker" on it as an example, I think it was meant to be.

    My mom will make Sunny hers.  Her grandmother used to make them for evereyone.  She has since passed away so my mom has taken over. Very special!

    This will likely be the year I make ours.  I'm making 10 zillion for the rest of the family since we keep expanding, so I might as well make 6 for us.  4 for the current batch, plus 2 more just in case.

    I just buy the Bucilla felt stocking kits to make them.  I'm not very crafty, but they are easy to make if you can find the time and there are some cute designs.
    It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
    IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
    Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops

    Super cute! I didn't know Walmart had personalized things like that. Will have to keep that in mind.

    This year we will be using a 'my first Christmas' stocking for DD that was mine when I was a baby. I'm hoping to order us some cute matching ones if they go on sale after Christmas to use for next year.

    We're kinda boring. DH and I both have a stocking that has the letter on it of our first name. I will be buying one with a "B" on it. From Target.

    I plan on making one that goes with the ones I made for DH and I last year, then embroidering his name on it. I didn't embroider ours last year so I may make them say mommy and daddy now :)

    My mom and i have this tradition it might be a little odd but about every two-three years we buy everyone a new stocking well the last time we did that we got DH an Elvis stocking that sings Blue Christmas and my sister a peanut stocking taht sings the theme song. Her and I are also pretty happy with our fuzzy stockings so we will just carry on the tradition with the boys and get them each a stock Austin his first and Cale his second. I am really excited about it.

    Lol thank you! This is me exactly! I like the idea pp mentioned about making two extra just in case, may have to do that myself.

    THIS!  and for those who are planning on having more kids, Bucilla puts out new designs every year (and you can find older designs on ebay/etsy/etc).  I have made 14 Bucilla stockings now (for my whole family) and they are all so nice.  I love how they shine slightly-especially with the fireplace "on"

    I will probably just get Claire one that matches ours from Pottery Barn (red with white cuff) though I may just get new ones entirely so that ours will say mom and dad. I haven't decided yet. I will likely end up just getting one matching one, though, since I like to change up our decor every few years and will probably choose new ones at some point.
