DD used to love the Ergo but now gets irritated because she can't look out. She hated the Moby when she was a newborn but I haven't tried it out since because its been so hot here and just seems overwhelming. I have a ring sling that has worked well, and now I usually carry her on my hip, but now she just keeps straightening her legs and doesn't stay secure in the sling. She hates having her legs in, even in a kangaroo carry. I need something where she is 1. secure and can't wiggle out 2. has the option to sit on my hip or at least be able to look around.

Maybe a Beco Gemini. It has a forward facing out option or a Mei tai or wrap in a high back carry

I'd go for a mei tai in a high back carry, or if she's close to sitting a ring sling for a hip carry.

Mei tai is more secure once you get confident enough to get the baby up there yourself, but a ring sling is very versatile and I used it a lot for quick trips and holding an up-and-down older baby.
