We matched after getting scammed.

Hello,

 I'm new here.  My husband and I matched with an expecting mom due Nov 5th! We had previously matched with a different woman who we now know was a scammer.  We were totally heartbroken and hurt.  Being vulnerable again is tough, but we have to do it if we are ever going to adopt! So I'm terrified but excited.  

 Please everyone read up on adoption scams.  There are a lot of different kinds of scams out there.  I wish we had.  Best wishes to everyone!

    Welcome!  I'm sorry for what you went through before and I wish you the bet with this match!  We are matched with an e mom due that same week, the 9th!

    All the best to you as you move forward!  Hopefully this time you are matched with a family that you will be loving with for many years to come.  In fact, now that you are more aware of red flags, maybe you can channel your energy into getting to know your e-mom/family and start building a lifelong and trusting relationship.
