Putting in my first order!

Yay me! I got SO on board with cloth diapering! WOAH! Do you know how hard I thought that was going to be??? Sigh of relief!

So, I am putting our first order in the morning. I can't wait! My cart is full and waiting! We are starting with Alva's then in a couple weeks we'll get a couple of prefolds and some others, possibly. I found a fantastic deal on craigslist for bum genius, too. I'm so pumped.

I never thought I'd be into cloth diapers. This is pretty cool! Anyone else doing cloth unexpectedly?

    Yay! I'm stoked for you!! I meant to reply to your original CD post but it's been a busy afternoon. I think you'll really enjoy it. Diapers can be addicting! Really! What Alvas are you getting?

    We are unexpectedly trying it out. I never thought id be a CD type of person. Standing in the diaper isle two days ago looking at those prices and how we've already spent almost 125 dollars on diapers really made me get interested. The initial cost of CD may be a little pricey but in the end it seems so worth it to not have to continuously buy sposies.

    I'm currently working on building up my stash and my shopping cart is full but I haven't placed any orders yet. I'm debatIng if I'm just going to solely use AIO's or if I want to use prefolds as well. FuzziBunz, Bumgenius 4.0, and Charlie Banana are what I'm looking at for AIO's but I've heard awesome things about Thirsties hemp prefolds and duo covers. I'm actually pretty excited about it as well.

    For now we are just getting a package deal of twenty solid colors. It makes the larger for cheaper giving us the option to get more faster whether we stick with just pockets or something diff.

    I'm also surprised at how much i live cd! We tried newborn aio right away and liked it so much we got a stash of bum genius freestyle. We love it!

    More than the cash savings, I love not having to run to the store for more diapers. And, i love how soft they are! If it were my butt, I'd choose cloth over the scratchy plasticky cotton any day!

    We have been CD since day three.  I tell everyone CD is SOOOOO much easier than BF!!  All the critics never said anything about BF but they all thought I was crazy for CD.  Wish they would have told me how hard BF was.
