I'm packing away her nb clothes and her summer outfits while crying. I know she will never fit into them again and it's making me sad. Anyone else a complete wacko like me?
My mom's friend's daughter just had a baby and is a teenage mama who could use the help. I was glad to give her some extra cute stuff. I dont know maybe Im a wacko, but he's still so small to me! I kept the stuff I love, but I was excited to go pick him out some new clothes (and look a fool asking his opinion on every single item)
I loved him small, but Im loving how big he's getting to!
No, I did the same thing. I think it made me realize how quickly time is flying by. I did like the poster above me did: kept my favorites that he wore and I'm donating the rest to less-fortunate mommies out there. I am keeping his first pair of shoes though so we can bronze them!
I'm a first-time parent, so that may explain my reaction.

I was soo sad thinking about how little he was when I brought him home...i'm so sad that the time is flying by,
I got a little teary thinking about how fast he grew...seems like yesterday he was born. Packing up his NB clothes was kind of exciting for me, though, because it got me thinking about taking them out again when his little brother or sister is going to be born.

I'm the same way - I was sad, but then I just got thinking about #2 and stopped being sad.
Funny, I didn't feel sad. I am loving this stage. She is so talkative, smiles, laughs... I think I was too worried the first few months because they are so fragile.
I'm definitely a wacko but not in this respect Yesterday, I was in line at Walgreen's and a lady in front of me had a itty bitty, teeny tiny little baby. She was all red and wrinkly and the mom looked super frazzled.
Then I smiled down at Lil Vivs in her stroller who looked like a total beast compared towards that tiny thing and I was SO HAPPY that the NB phase is over. Although those clothes ARE pretty stinkin' cute...

I actually saved one of my LO's NB diapers. I like to look at it once and awhile. Can't believe he fit into those at one point.
