Pregnant after IF

Anyone use a snoogle or other pg pillow? Opinions please

I just wanted to see if anyone has used the snoogle or other pregnancy pillow and what your thoughts were.  To buy or not to buy?  I am only 14 weeks, but with twins, I am more like 18 weeks in measurement.  I was measuring 4 weeks ahead last time.  I am waking up every night with horrible hip and sholder pain.  I just bought a normal large body pillow for now, but was thinking of a snoogle. Is it worth it?  Any other suggestions out there.  Moving to the recliner didn't help me last night either.

  • I would love the answer to this too. I am a back sleeper and sleeping on my side is killing me! My shoulders and neck are hurting. I've been looking in to buying a pillow, but I don't know which one is best.

  • Snoogle was a life saver to me. I am still using it after the baby. I don't know what I would have done without it after my c-section.

  • I HIGHLY recommend the Snoogle. Because my belly was growing so fast, I found I needed the support early on. I think I got it around 15-16w. A couple of times per week, I still wake with shoulder and hip pain, but the Snoogle really supports my belly and back. I have to use the restroom every 1-2 hours anyway, so I just flip then. If you do get one, I would definitely get the jersey cover. The cover it comes with is not soft.

Ditto to all of this, except I think I got mine around 12w.  I was eager for some relief Smile

The only complaint I have is that because I always have my head in the same spot it gets really flat and is kind of a pain to re-fluff (I never heard anyone else complain about this though, so maybe I just have a really heavy head).  It was DH's nightly job to re-fluff my snoogle before I got into the bed until I came to the hospital.  I am definitely missing it, but there is no way it would fit in my tiny hospital bed.

After 5 TI Clomid cycles, 5 IUIs, and 2 IVFs we finally got our BFP!

  • I was really looking forward to getting a snoogle early on and got one around 14-15 weeks, when I started to show.  I must be the oddball b/c I hated it. I felt 'stuck' in bed with it.  I couldn't flip from side to side easily. And the head part just wasn't comfortable at all.  I ended up returning it after a few weeks. I'm now much happier using an additional king size pillow between my legs.

  • Get the snoogle!!! So worth every penny.  I got it early in pregnancy and did not like it.  Then I started getting really uncomfortable so I gave it another try.  It's wonderful but does take a few nights to get use to.  I would not trade mine for anything!  I used a full body pillow for a while and got by.  But there came a point where it just was not cutting it. I love the back support the snoogle gives me.

We have a king size tempurpedic also and I still can't get comfortable.  I didn't buy a Snoogle and now at 27 weeks, I feel like it's too late.

  • I have a snoogle.  But I am entirely too hot to use it.  even if I am in the buff without any covers or sheets- if I put my leg on the snoogle- I get too hot.  It's miserable.

So I use a pillow between my legs and one behind my back.  I still get hot but not as hot.

I feel I wasted money buying it.  Oh well.   maybe I will use it in the winter
