I EBF on demand, so if LO wakes up on his own to cluster feed then I get up to nurse him. During his growth spurt last week, DS2 nursed for 10-15 mins every 45 mins-1 hour.
I wouldn't wake DS2 up to cluster feed on purpose though... In my experiences with my 3 LOs, they usually only cluster feed during growth spurts.

I also ebf and LO usually cluster feeds every evening from 7 to 10. I never wake him up. If he's still sleeping around 7, then that means he'll just cluster feed from 8 to 10 or 11.
I definitely don't mind the cluster feeding. LO sleeps 4 hour stretches at night.

Carson eats from 7-9:30 every night. Maybe a five minute break two or three times during those 2.5 hours. And the longest he has ever slept (even at night) is two and a half hours... I absolutely would NOT wake for cluster feeding- if they are hungry, you'll know!
I formula feed. He usually get a bottle around 4/4:30 and if he is really hungry I will give him an ounce or two around 6 and then he gets a 3 ounce bottle (what he typically eats) at 7. At 7 he goes down after that bottle and will sleep until about 12/12:30.
Yeah cluster feeding doesn't do much for us. The only way he'll sleep for a good 3 hours for sure is when he feeds for a good 20 minutes on both sides. I try to ensure that for bedtime.

I EBF, and DS tells me when he's hungry! He cluster feeds sometimes during the evening, but I don't wake him up to feed him ever (unless we're leaving and I need to feed him/get him ready to go).
LO cluster feeds in the evenings/night from about 6-10 pm or so, usually 30-45 mins each side and will only be off for 30 mins to a hour. Since Wednesday he's been on and off the boobs all day long, I'm talking 2 hr nursing sessions, a 30 min - 1 hour break and then back for 2 hours. I'm going nuts. I'm praying it's just a growth spurt.
My LO tends to cluster feed in the evenings from around 7-10. She'll eat for 15-20 min on one side, doze off, I'll burp her, she'll wake up, need a clean diaper, switch to other breast, and repeat. I don't wake her up to do it. Some evenings are definitely worse than others. Sometimes she'll just chill on my shoulder for much longer, other nights it's non-stop eating. But, totally worth it b/c she is sleeping anywhere from 4-7 hours at night.
Do you wake to cluster feed? If ff how much do you feed over how many feedings?
It sounds like you are confused as to what cluster feeding actually is. It's when a baby wants to nurse frequently in a few hour timespan...for instance, if baby nursed 5 times in four hours, that's considered luster feeding. It happens most frequently in the evenings after mom's milk is established because most women produce the least amount of milk in the evenings. I suppose a formul feeding baby might cluster feed as well, but the whole point is that is something the baby does, not something you do to the baby on purpose! I hope that helps!
