Fall fruits - blah! I miss summer berries!
Angry Birds! I saw this idea at https://bento-logy.blogspot.com/2012/09/angry-birds-bento.html and improvised based on the foods I had on hand. Round sandwich with white cheese details. The pupils are sprinkles, the beak is corn and the eyebrow is nori. Everything is attached with cream cheese. The other bird is a Sun Chip. The rest of the lunch contains raspberries, grapes and snap peas. In the pig container are a few mini M&Ms - uneaten since she didn't finish her lunch. What a good girl!
Pirates! Another stolen idea - https://www.pcgirl.net/blog/?p=1663 (that blog is no longer updated, but I still use it as a resource). Homemade sealed sandwich with a cheese top. The X is cheese, nori dots, and a pretzel/celery palm tree. The pirate is a Babybel cheese with nori and sprinkle details. The lunch also has snap peas, grapes, raspberries and a pirate treasure Kiss.
After these intricate lunches, the rest of the week was pretty blah:
I was going for a "cow jumped over the moon" theme, but it didn't really pan out. Mini sealed PB/honey sandwiches, mixed up grapes on picks, a few mini pretzels, a cow pick jumping over cashew "moons", and carrots & celery in the upper portion.
This was the day of DD's teddy bear picnic at school, where lots of food would be involved, so this was more of a large snack. The top portion has a few carved baby carrots (I can never get these to look as nice as those I see on bento blogs!). In the silicone flower pot is ham on bear picks. There's also a box of raisins, a stack of cheese & Wheat Thins, one of which is covering up the teddy bear container of pretzels - oops! On the bottom is a peanut butter celery log with a few cut-outs from the carrots, snap peas and grapes. Blah!
And finally a very quick happy face/bee lunch. On the left are ham on picks, grapes and raspberries, and a few Sun Chips, all divided with silicone cupcake liners. On the right are tortilla/strawberry cream cheese roll-ups with a container of snap peas.
PIP your cute lunches! I know you're making them! Have a great week. It's a four-day school week here - woot!
Re: Cute lunch check-in
Great inspiration, as always!
Here is a doggie ham and cheese sandwich with fruit leather collar and a sunflower seed eye. Celery and green peppers. A mini raisin box. An apple. In the lion container is applesauce. And a mini muffin. A few "dog bones" which are fruit leather and graham crackers. Plus I wrote the day's note from the dog
I need inspiration for tomorrow. On hand I have green grapes, red pepper, carrots, apples. DS has requested a cheese stick and cottage cheese. I also have pretzel sticks, goldfish, cereals, and maybe another granola bar. Ideas?

Great idea, thanks! I have plastic picks that I found at the dollar store that have hearts on top, perfect. You know what would be fun? A rounded stick. Think candy necklace but with big chunks of fruits. Hmmm.....

Just made tomorrow's lunch
A cheese stick and granola bar. A funny cucumber face. Red peppers (he likes to see what shape they make when I cut them). On top I have various fruits and veggies on sticks and a little cup of goldfish. It doesn't seem like enough so I might add a yogurt or cottage cheese. DS's preK teacher sent home a note saying less is more, they have little time and get distracted by too many options. I can see that.
