Maura! The Bday poster turned out precious!!!! I may have to make a cutesy boy one now for Jack!
I failed this past week and weekend and did nothing on my list...
This week I plan to finish his birthday banner and try one or two recipes (not sure which ones yet). Hopefully, I will have more to contribute next Monday!

Started? I had DH power-wash this Little Tikes Tugboat I got at a garage sale. I'm going to repaint it like I did the Cozy Coupe
Planned? I already have a frame that I'm trying to cut and glue on wine corks to. I'm going to use this frame as the basis to the "A Year of Firsts". I'm not going to make it chalkboard, though.
Finished? Multiple loaves of bread, another batch of DIY wood floor cleaner, since I'm using it like it's going out of style.
Have three recipes this week applesauce BBQ chicken, quinoa and chicken pilaf, and lasagna rolls.
I also have a few things for DD's birthday that I am working on. I will post pictures of what I get finished next week we just got back from vacation so I am unpacking and stuff.

I love the end result! I happened to have fallen in love with fabric the blog poster used and so I bought it. Matches my room perfect! I already bought brown curtains and they will be put up any day now. Quick, easy and made a dramatic difference!

I don't have pics available, but I tried the homemade finger paints with food coloring and cornstarch mixture, but she was more interested in just touching and trying to eat them then actually paint. I didn't really like how jelly-like and transparent they were though.
I'm also working on those birthday posters, thanks to 'Lopes who pointed us on to the idea.
And I will be copying this but with clowns. The cardboard is genius - I was going to try to use mdf or something similar but we don't have a jigsaw to cut the openings.

I made:
Marshmallow fondant
I turned out great! Easy and same consistency and taste of other fondants I have used.
We are still working on this:
Mario mural on our garage wall.
This is not the best picture..but you get the gist!
This is adorable! You did a great job! How did you make this?

I used black mat board and metallic scrapbooking markers. I drew a rough draft on regular paper and then transposed it to the poster in pencil first.
The lady on etsy charges $48 for it. The markers were expensive $14 but if you use a coupon you could get them cheaper and the mat board was like $4.
Those are AMAZING! Good Job

I didn't attempt anything this week, was toooooooo busy...
This coming week I want to start this:
I have the cardboard for it, I just need to find some plastic bananas to throw into it.
I got Layla's invites printed and ready to go
I also got a new DSLR camera this week so I'll be learning how to use that and taking lots of cute pics of DD

I did the board too! Love this idea I will have to take a pic and post it.
