Please recommend your baby monitor

Ours keep dying or they don't reach far at all! The one we currently have (a Graco I think) was beeping all night and she was in the next room over! We don't care if it's a video monitor or just sound (although video would be nice for when she starts off in her "big girl bed") but mostly we're looking for distance. It would be great if it could reach outside into the back yard.

Our Angel Care monitor has held up well. We used the movement pad for a very short period of time, so that part was a waste, but otherwise we're pleased with it. I've gone to the neighbor's house across the street with it, and it's gotten a little static-y but still worked, and it's fine in the back yard. Maybe you could find one used on Craigs List. . . .? We paid around $100 I think, and in hindsight I wish I had looked for one used.

We have a Summer Slim & Secure. It's nice but has it's issues. I wouldn't pay full price again BUT just saw it at TJ Maxx for like a 1/3 of the price. I'd buy it again at that price!

I have this one- except with two cameras. I love it- no problems with range- our house is 3000 sq ft ranch- it also will work outside for most of the yard that we use.

We have the Summer Infant Slim & Secure & the range is very good. We've had some toher problems with it, though, which has caused us to return it & get a new one, but overll we're happy with it. We bought a second one for the new baby's room, too.

We also have the AngelCare monitor.
