Hi ladies! I am 32, we recently had a failed fresh IVF and a failed FET (we are dealing with severe MFI so did IVF with ICSI), I got my period today so are starting the process for another fresh cycle. I have no issues at all - all my bloodwork, ultrasounds, HSG, hysteroscopy, etc showed all clear and good and both cycles went smooth so am frustrated that neither cycle worked. We had a very lengthy discussion with our doctor re: the protocol this time around and am feeling very confident and optimistic, their success rates are world recognized so have doubts with our docs at all. My question is this - are there any foods, drinks, supplements etc that can improve my uterine health/improve chances of implanation? I know there are a lot of wives tales out there just looking for some of you who have had IVF success what your experiences have been? Thanks!

My RE did a study and found a 5% better implantation rate with acupuncture (my facility does laser). I also did not try that, but I think it may be very beneficial to do so.

While I can't be sure what made the difference between my BFP and my BFN, but I do have some theories! (1) Pre and post transfer acupuncture...I had been doing regular acu, but I did day of treatment this time. My first transfer was painful and I had a lot of cramping. I didn't have any cramping the second time around. I almost wonder if that helped my little guys settle in. Plus, it was sooooo relaxing! The acupuncturist used the German protocol, so it wasn't customized for me, but I did enjoy it. (2) Assisted Hatching...we tend to have lots of embryos, but they like to decline on the morning of day five. I feel like the AH gave them the extra energy they needed to stick. (3) PIO instead of Endometrin... I started my period on Endometrin, so I wonder if I had some absorption issues with it.
I didn't take any additional supplements or change my diet, so I can't say anything about any other methods. My doseages were a bit different, but we did the same protcol (Lupron St.op). Best of luck with your cycle!

I couldn't bring myself to try acupuncture (had enough needles in my body, thank you very much) but this cycle only I went for a full body Swedish massage the day before transfer. It was blissfully relaxing and I went into transfer feeling awesome- my blood pressure was down, I had minimal cramping, and I was just much less stressed out.
That combined with PIO (never had luck with crinone but had both of my pregnancies were on PIO) and two absolutely rockstar hatching day 5 embryos got me to this point
Friends for 17 years. Married 10. TTC since Jan 2009.

Cerclage, P17, and 3 months of bed rest brought us our Rainbow.
Dum spiro, spero.
I must go to the same place...because we did do the laser acupuncture before & after transfer of our FET. The RE also let me go back to normal activity the next day other than heavy lifting & exercise...I've heard that that helps get the blood flowing to the uterus...which helps with implantation.
I also ate pineapple core & pineapple...can't say that is what worked but I was willing to try anything..we were unable to do our fresh cycle due to slow growers so only have experience with FET.
My issues were just ver low AMH (0.48)...so a few months prior to our fresh I began taking DHEA supplements and royal jelly...might have improved our egg quality which could have helped too. I also drank POM juice which is supposed to help with lining...although I don't think I drank it with our FET.
Good luck!
