Team boy!

We found out this morning that we are having another boy! 

I am a little bummed it's not a girl (EVERYONE thought for sure it was a girl) but I had a feeling it was a boy. Mother's intuition was right! I am excited for Carter to have a little brother to play with though!

Now we just have to decide on a name, we are down to 2, and figure out if we are going to use the guest room for a nursery or put the boys in the same room.

    Congrats!!! TBH, I was a tiny bit bummed that we were having another boy but since they're so close in age I'm happy they're the same gender. And you're totally right about mothers intuition. During both pregnancies I had dreams that I'd be having a boy. I was rightboth times!

    Congrats!! Ditto a lot of what babycakes said. A part of me is sad to not have a daughter strong possibility we are done after 2 .but 2 boys close in age...built in best buddies and that makes me very happy they will have that bond.

    DH isn't sure he wants a 3rd baby, but after our appt today he said its going to be harder to talk me out of a 3rd lol.

    Once we pick a name and I start buying a couple things, I know I will get more and more excited.

    I had the exact same feeling...a small feeling of loss that I will never have a daughter, because we are probably also done after this one.  But now I am totally excited about this boy after looking at all the clothes again, and decorating his room, etc.  Plus, I'm so excited for A to have a brother! :) You will get excited too very soon!

    And I guess the saying of the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence is true.  While I'm happy to have a boy and girl, I'm also slightly disappointed that it wasn't another girl.  I had visions of 2 little girls being bff's and dressing them the same.  ::sigh::

    I feel the same way.

    I really wanted DD to have a sister because I never had one. I am also excited because Jr. will be the first boy on DH's side.

    Same feeling here, but I'm not quite over it yet. I hope I can get more excited once I decorate the nursery.

    Congratulations!!  I'm actually hoping to have another boy...I'm just a boy kinda gal.  Funny how everyone has different hopes about their "ideal" family.

    I also was sad that I may never have a girl, but after seeing how close Connor and Aaron are and how well they play together, I want a whole house full of boys, it is so much fun!!
