Anyone else's LO skip a size in clothes??

Last week I started putting him in 6-9 month clothes and half of them are a little too tight! They fit just like the 3-6 month clothes!! So now I am putting him in 9-12 month clothes! I am just so frustrated because he has so many clothes he hasn't been able to wear!

Anyone else have to skip a size??

    Not yet, DD skipped when she was older though. We really could have gone from 12 months to 2T probably as she was only in 18 months for about 3 months, then we skipped 24 months altogether.

    That's happened to me a few times! I think 6 to 9 is really different in some brands. Some fit perfect now, some a little too small and some HUGE! It's really frustrating!

    If really carried between brand and style. However there was 6 month dogs overalls that are from oshkosh that ds grew out of the start of June. Now I just bought him 9 month sized pants from them, scared they may be too small, and they are super loose on him. Ds is wearing 6-9month, 9-12, and 6-12 month all just depended on the brand and fit. It is really confusing.

    This! It all depends on the brand. In regular Carter's he fits in 6-9 months but it the Carter's Just One You and the other ones like that, he's in 3-6. Same with Gymboree, Children's Place, Baby Gap, etc. All brands are cut differently.

    We're using 3-6 and 6-9 depending on the brand. I'm starting to phase out some of her warmer weather 3-6. In reality, she could still wear 0-3 pants. She's skinny and long in the torso. I'm sort of just playing everything by ear, but it really is a pain fo rthem to not wear a lot of stuff. At least we've been given most of our clothes to this point.

    I think 6-9 is going to be a very short stage for us. He is not going to be in 6 month clothes as long as he was in 3 month clothes.

    I can remember just waiting for dd to fit into her 3mo clothes for the summer.  She stayed in them all summer long, and mid july I was worried when  a couple people gifting me 3-6 clothes because she was is 0-3 for so long.  Now, for winter apparel, I am pretty much buying 9 months.  She literally just got into 6 month clothes and I feel like it's not going to be long before she outgrows them
