I'm still only giving him a bath once a week at this point. I just don't think he needs any more than that and I have eczema and am nervous about doing anything to mess up his skin. Once he starts going to daycare in two weeks, I'll probably up his baths to 3 times a week since he'll be exposed to more stuff.
I probably do it about every 3 days. Every night seems like overkill when they aren't sweating, playing outside, etc at this age. I do wash him with water and a wash cloth in between if needed (he is a messy eater!). I also will give him a bath if I think putting him down for the night might be difficult as it relaxes him.
I do every other, but there have been a few days where I've done every 3 because I just couldn't fit a bath in that night. Also, if she has a serious spit up problem I may do 2 nights in a row. I try to stick to the every other night however.
Usually we give our son a bath once a week per my pediatricians instructions. If there is a need (such as a large amount of poop or vomit), we will bathe him.
Once her cord stump fell off we started to bathe nightly and her hair every other night. She had colic and the bath seemed to help her and now she associates it with bedtime. At 3 months we started to bathe and wash her hair nightly because she is in daycare.
I've been doing every 2-3 days. I do it when I change him out of his pjs after his early morning nap. Just seems like there's too much going on a night for me to do his baths at night.

we do every 3-4 days.. pedi said she isn't in day care so she isn't exposed to germs and such that she hasn't already encountered..
I wipe her face and hands almost every feeding.. sometimes her little cheeks and fingers get sticky from sucking on them in between burping and feeding. haha
LO gets a bath every 2-3 days depending on our schedule, unless he has an accident (spits up a lot, pees on himself). We do wipe his face (3x daily-has baby acne) and hands daily with a warm wash cloth.
My LO has eczema and sensitive skin, so my pedi said to only bathe him once a week and no soap. But I do wipe out his neck folds and behind his ears with a wet washcloth daily, because I don't want a stinky baby!

We bathe once a week (sometimes twice if she has a really messy diaper or grandma makes her messy when feeding her pumped milk). She does get her massage and lotion prebedtime though.
However, if DD would be a spitter-upper, then she would probably get a bath every other. I would say if ur LO spits up or drools alot to where she would get smelly or have "neck cheese" I would bathe her more often, if not, i think every 3 is perfectly fine. I think it depends on each LO and their skin condition.

Geez! i guess im overdoing it...i bath her twice daily.....morning and bedtime......she loves playing with water in her little tub and its routine for us now
As a newborn, I bathed my LO every other night ... Sometimes every 3 nights. Around 3-4 months, I started bathing her every night around the same time in order to establish a nighttime routine (she had her days & nights mixed up). I used soap and gave her a real bath every other night ... Otherwise I just let her play in the water for a few minutes. My LO is now 5 months & still sleeping 10+ hours a night. Happy baby ... Happy Mommy!
I only bathe my baby (18weeks old) every 2-3 days. He has dry skin and I want him to retain some natural oils on his skin to prevent chaffing and irritation. If he is extra messy i wipe him down in between. babys do not sweat and so the only real thing there is to clean off is food mess and waste. it isn't good for their skin to wash them everyday. but if baby enjoys it, and it helps he/she sleep better it really won't hurt to bathe daily as long as you use a good moisterizer
