Tiny Little Rant from a Jan 2012 Lurker.

I just want to say sorry for crashing, but I have to get this off my chest.

There's this girl that I used to work with. She's a sweetheart but she was never the brightest crayon in the box and the last year has proved it.

Her first mistake, she got knocked up by her boyfriend. Now, this doesn't sound that bad until you realize that this is baby number 11 for him and she's baby mama number 6 and he's unemployed. Uh, hello, you knew he was fertile so you should have done everything you could to make sure you didn't get pregnant unless you knew he could afford to support yet another kid. 

Mistake number 2: They didn't make arrangement for where they would live after the baby. They had been living with a girl for a while and she said they could stay after the baby. But her parents pay her rent and the apartment is in their name so you should have talk to them. but she didn't so they were homeless with a 1 month old. Having had an extra bedroom I let  her and the baby move for 2 months to save some money so now they live with me. 

Now, undeniable proof that she wasn't ready for motherhood....She's done no research whatsoever. And I mean none. Afterall, her boyfriend has 10 other kids so he must know what he's talking about. So they're feeding they're 2 month old solid foods. WTF??? Poor thing has reflux so they keep switching his formula like he's tried 3 different formulas in one week. How's that gonna help? Maybe he's spitting up so much because you're trying to feed him solids. Ever think of that? Maybe if you put lotion on your baby he wouldn't have so many eczema patches. And maybe if you'd spend just 10 minutes reading about SIDS you wouldn't come to me every other day and ask me about a "rumor" you heard about it from the other moms at you job. GRRR. I so glad for that baby's sake that they moved in with us. I just wish he had smarter parents.
