I've noticed that during bathtime C is really discovering "down there". It never fails. We use to keep a thin wash cloth covering it but he now pulls it off and tosses it to the side. I thought this might happen closer to 1. Is this happening to others?

Mine giggles. EVERY TIME I change him and wipe him down. EVERY TIME!

Apparently penises are HILARIOUS. Owen gets a good handful and giggles.

Thankfully this is only happening at bath time. FX it stays that way, as he's also a big fan of chewing on his fingers, and poop balls PLUS grabby fingers =/= tasty.

The first few times it happened I was kind of freaking out. My husband just shrugs like "hey, he's a boy". He pulls on it and it looks painful.

Yup. He squeezes and pulls on his stuff and it looks straight up painful. He also laughs like crazy when I am wiping him to change his diaper.

They both do it on ocassion. It's fine by me, explore away. The tough part is when he wants to grab himself while I am changing a poopy diaper, it like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" hahaha

Yep! Lincoln recently discovered himself. He's always grabbing and pulling on when I change him. He reaches for it even when he's wearing a diaper and gets a confused look on his face when he can't find it.

He was doing it a lot, like every diaper change his hand when right there as soon as I took off the old diaper. Now he is into his feet more, I'm guessing he'll start liking his Wiener again soon enough, lol.

Also, he giggles every time I wipe him. It is so funny, I guess the cold wipe tickles his now.

Yep, I treat it the same as everything else. It's his body and I don't make a big deal of it. I remember my niece doing something similar. I figure if he can discover his hands and feet, this should be no different.

Oh yes. Both my boys loved playing with their goober when they were this little. They aren't as interested in it now, but I know that will change in the near future, lol.
