I want to have DH's grandmother make DD a wool soaker, but don't know what kind of yarn to get or where to buy it. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I want something that will hold up well too. Any suggestions?
michaels, hobby lobby, jo ann's. Just about any craft store. Lion brand is one you'll find there. Just look for a worsted weight yarn, that should work fine.
You could also check out thrift stores for 100% wool sweaters. Do some searching for sweater recycling on how to do that.
