If you read my post yesterday about needing to start sleep training, you'll know wht I'm talking about. I mentioned that I wasn't wanting to make him CIO because I just personally can't stand hearing him upset when I could go in there and comfort him. Well we tried the Elizabeth Pantley's No-Cry Sleep Solution again last night, and while it took from 7:30-8:30, it worked! He slept from 8:30-12:30, up for a few min at 2:30 then back down until 6:45. He's usually up every 2 hours after 12:30, so last night was a huge improvement. I'm hoping now we can cut out the 2nd wake up, then get him to STTN. And just want to say THANK YOU to charmediamsure for all your advice/help!

Re: Well DS did a lot better last night!
Glad to hear better sleep was had.
We're having a lot of issues with sleep right now too. Did you find information about this method on a website?? I'm interested in finding out more!
THanks!
I know how you feel and we've still got a lot of work to do on our end. Yeah, it's a book but you can just google No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley and there's a few exerpts on her website. There's also a few other books I'm reading too; Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, The Lull-a-baby Sleep Plan and Becoming Baby Wise. Hope that helps!
Thank you! I've requested them from the library!
