Stupid Pregnant Friend Vent

I'll start by saying that this girl kind of annoys me and I've been on the verge of cutting ties for a long time.  This might push me over the edge.  

She just found out on Friday that she's expecting a boy.  They already had a name picked out, so now her FB is exploding with all of B's activities and milestones.  "B's first trip to the beach!"  "B's first Thai food!  He liked it!"  

HE'S STILL MONTHS AWAY FROM BEING BORN!!!!!  AHHHHHHH!!!!!

If she's like this now, I can only imagine what she'll be like when she actually has the damn baby.   I really want to delete her because this sh!t will drive me crazy, but I can't.  It's like a train wreck.  You don't want to look, but you can't avert your eyes from the horror. . . .

    LOL that is annoying. Can you block her updates on FB from clogging your news feed?

    Oh yeah, that would annoy the craaaap out of me!! I have a friend who's similar, and I can't stand it. Every little thing she does to prepare for her baby's arrival goes on FB, and every day its a countdown.
    I'm of the mind that people generally dont care too much about the things I do, considering my baby. Like, I gave my LO her first little taste of banana yesterday, and my H and I thought her face was the cutest, funniest thing. I know 99 percent of my fb friends could care less about the face my LO made when she ate a taste of banana. So, while it's big for me, I didn't put anything on fb. I wish some ppl would do the same! You should hide all of her activity from your newsfeed so you won't have to see it.

    Fo some reason it annoyed me on here too. I know it's irrational. I just found it odd. I had a hard time calling DS by name even with DH until he was out in the world.

    One of my best friends made a FB page FOR the unborn baby and then "the baby" asked everyone to be his friend.  She also left the first wall post with a huge letter of her preparing for him, etc.  

     I've heard of people writing emails/letters to their unborn children....but creating a FB page and expecting me to be friends with your unborn baby is ridic!!!!!

    Why for? It is most likely what their name will be.

    i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
