I just got a One Step Ahead catalog and they had some awesome costumes. The peacock one was really awesome! Ridiculously expensive but maybe you can use it as inspiration.
I have 3 options:
1) a handmedown duck costume. It's cute and warm so if it's cold and it fits we'll go with that.
2) Otherwise I have a child size apron I was going to dress her up as a baker with a bowl and a spoon.
3) I have fairy wings and a tully skirt. I'm thinking Tinkerbell, angel, fairy in general.

This is what we are doing I think. We have a pink and a purple tulle skirt so I just need to find matching wings and maybe a tiara. Oh and maybe some slippers.
I have 2 costumes. 1 a ringmaster costume he wore at his birthday party and 2 a teddy beat from chasing fireflies. We go to a few different Halloween events so I'll mix it up
