both kids were generally tired after receiving all vaccines, not just MMR. I think it was partly due to the stress/crying of having to get poked, and then partly due to the vaccine itself.
i can't remember which vaccine it was, but they did have a swollen area on their arm for one of the vaccines.... i don't think it was MMR though.
DS never had any problems with vaccinations (knock on wood!). I generally try to time ped appointments right before naps, and he always wakes up fine with no fussiness, or any other issues!
