Now that our comrades are starting to pop out the cuties... is anyone else blown away when they see another October momma's baby?

I looked at Starry's post and I was like, "HOLY CRAP...that is inside of all of us? And we are about to be responsible for one of those?" 

I also just washed my first load of baby clothes, so the shock value is firing on all cylinders.

    LOL, I had the SAME thought!!! I can't wait but I'm freaking out too!

    We are washing baby clothes tomorrow - since I've been having BP issues we may end up with a Sept baby too and it's time to stop messing around with getting things ready.

    I'm always reading what the little tickers say...like how much the baby weighs now and what-not..its hard to believe they're all scrunched up in there!!! Our bodies are amazing. I'm in total disbelief that my LO will be here so soon :(

    A September mommy friend of mine had her baby last Friday at 37.5 weeks and we visited them in LD. I said "no wonder I feel like a punching bag! That's how big they are?!" Granted she's a couple weeks ahead of me but actually seeing a real live newborn so close to my son's age while he's still inside me...scared the crap out of me. In my mind I'm still picturing a chicken nugget with webbed fingers!

    Lol- I felt the same way.  And when I showed the picture to DH he said "Holy ***, there's like (pause) a baby in there!"

    After seeing Starry's pic I immediately went into the nursery and started taking down everything that still needed washed and am pleased to say everything is washed!  I also started getting all of my stuff together for the hospital...I of course have been cramping more than usual so I am paranoid...I'm hoping by getting most of it together will jinx me into keeping her put for another two weeks!

    This is the reason I keep busting H's chops about getting the dresser finished and into the baby's room ASAP!  I need to wash things and put them away where they won't get all dirty again!
