Hi there,
I was incredibly lucky to get a baby who started sleeping -through- the night at 6 weeks. Suddenly at 9 months she's waking every 3 hours or so. I think it's a combination of things:
* One of her front teeth is cutting through.
* She's having separation anxiety.
* She seems like she might be having a growth spurt.
We do feedings, because she really seems to devour and need it. But we can't really bring her to bed or she sits up, stands and tries to play with us while we pretend we're asleep. We also let her cry some, which works in that she'll usually pass out once we pick her back up about 5 minutes later.
But the cycle continues. And we're beat.
My question is - anyone else experiencing this and have any tips? And more importantly, how long does it last??

Yes! C has been waking up at least once a night since he turned 9 months after being a full-night sleeper for a long time.
I don't really have any tips or advice, but I wanted to let you know that you're not alone.

I am so glad to know that I am not alone!!
My little guy has slept all night since day one, and recently has started to wake screaming at the top of his lungs at 12am, and 4 am..
12-1230 waking we found was hunger, so I started giving him a bottle at 9 pm every night before bed and now he sleeps till about 230-420, also a good way to fight the over night hunger is a small "dessert" of cereal and a fruit or even veggie after babies last meal.
We know that when he is hurting or not feeling well he wakes and wants to be with us and this is something we have come to understand.
At the 230-420 waking we give him a min to see if he will go back to sleep because we do have trains and live in an apartment so they may disturb him. at times he does, but most commonly lately he will not. Have yet to find a cure all for that time except co-sleeping. Which is very little sleep for me, becuase I fear rolling over on him or him getting hurt.
Hi all!
Thanks so much. Though I wish there were more answers, it does help to know that we're not alone!
