For those who hung wooden letters...

Over the crib. What did you use to hang them on the wall with? DH and I are trying to figure out how we want to hang the letters, and can't seem to come to a unified decision.

  • We had that same question and to solve it... We decided to buy a canvas that's long enough for his name and we painted it with the colors of his room, then attached the letters to that... I like it better this way because we rent and did not choose to paint his room. So this gives us more color!
  • DD#1 we used super strong mirror tape however when we moved it did damage the wall. For DD#2 we got wood letters from Michaels that had holes for nails so we hung them on nails.

  • I used that double stick mounting foam tape stuff that was suppose to hold them up per the package with my first, in 6 months they started falling down.  Maybe get a kit that is used for hanging pictures and put those little brackets on the back and then hook them to nails.
  • Yes, tiny nails.

  • Hi, I am Rachel with Command(TM) Brand Products. Our Command(TM) Picture Hanging Strips would work great for this applicaiton. You can check them out and also get coupons at www.command.com. We do not recommend putting them over a bed/crib which we also note on the package due to safety concerns. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through our webpage or over the phone. Thanks!
  • For future consideration we do offer Command(TM) Water Resistant Strips for areas of high heat, humidity, or even in the shower itself. They apply and remove the same but are baby blue in color to signify they are water resistant.
