I was just at the grocery store and Zoe started crying, so I just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. I went to the closest check stand, which happened to have only one person at it that was almost done. I turned to go down it and this woman hurries to cut me off. She doesn't have anything in her hands, no cart and she just blocks me, has her back to me and then she looks down to a woman about halfway down the line of check stands, who is also standing in a line, and gestures her down. The woman hurries down, and inserts her cart full of stuff and plants and sh!t in front of mine, which contains me crying baby and the woman who initially cut me off turned and gave me this triumphant smile. I just said "fck that" out loud and went to the stand they had originally been at and got done way before them, but who cuts off the person with the crying baby? Wtf is wrong with you, lady? I really wish I had said something to them, because that just seems beyond rude.

Re: I need to grow a backbone
I do the same thing.
That is beyond rude! I've begun to grow a backbone lately and say what's on my mind. I'm so over other people's bullsh!t.
That would have been a perfect time for Zoe to end up with a dirty diaper. Bet they would want you to get in and out of there pretty quick then.
Beetches.
I was kind of wishing that Zoe was a screamer right about then, but, alas, she just sounds pathetic.
