How often do you wash your car?

Do you/SO do it yourself, or do you take it somewhere to be washed?

    My old car got washed about once every 3 years.  Since getting my new car a year ago I go about every month to six weeks.  We have a great automatic car wash in town that I buy discount cards for.

    About once  a year, at the car wash. Usually I will get really excited when the snow (and therefore the salt) is off the roads and I will take it. Inevitably, it snows shortly thereafter.

    FFC: I have never taken my car through a car wash. H does, and when he does it's to the SpraynWash type place, once a month or so. If I wash it, it's by hand and it's been a looooong time!.

    How often do you wash your car? Exterior - varies based on the season, Interior - 1x month or so

    Do you/SO do it yourself, or do you take it somewhere to be washed? DH cleans the interior for me when he does his car, but I take it through the car wash for the exterior.

    During the winter I get it washed more frequently to help minimize the salt on the car.  But its on an as-needed basis, so sometimes a few times in a month if it snows a lot.

    I used to never wash my car, but ever since we moved to a house we have a guy that comes to our house and washes it for us. He comes about once a month and doesn't charge very much for it. It's actually cheaper than taking it to the car wash(except for the automatic car wash they have at gas stations....those are definitely cheaper, but I don't like those anyways).
