Hello ladies, my sisters are throwing me a shower in November. Neither has thrown a baby shower before and they?ve asked for some ideas for the theme. We went with a snowflake theme since I?m due in January and I?ve been calling baby boy my little snowflake. We thought it was cute but now kinda at a loss on how to tie it all together. Any suggestions?? TIA!
Re: Any Ideas for Snowflake Theme?.
My sister is doing something similar for me. She's going to have a hot chocolate bar with a lot of different toppings for guests.
I think it's a really fun idea- since it will be the time of year when you're getting holiday decorations out anyway, maybe hang some white christmas lights or snowflake lights, make some snowflake garlands, and decorate with a lot of winter white/silver. The advantage- you can leave most of the decorations up and you'll be decorated for the holidays :-)
For favors, you could do snowflake ornaments or snowflake-shaped cookies. For food, it's pretty easy to find snowflake cookie cutters- get a few different shapes and cut out finger sandwiches and cookies, or stencil on top of cupcakes. Or maybe a dessert bar with white/vanilla desserts- vanilla frosting and coconut shreds would make great "snow."
Love this, thank you!!!!
Love it!!
