You say you hate the teenagers next door because their parents let them have friends over and be loud outside and it isn't even 10 pm on a Friday night yet... Yes, I felt this way before ds was born too.
when you leave your apartment to get the newspaper and you holler at the kids on bikes who are riding through the parking lot (whilst shaking your paper in impudent fury) "you kids better not be messing around here" ~ true story, I was 20 years old when this happened. I knew I was an old lady then!
I went to a fair and saw a teenage girl wearing a cartoon character on her shirt and other brightly colored items. She was with a boy who had his hair spiked up, wearing all black and had a necklace where he was collecting the green soda can tabs. I shook my head and all I could think of was "i'm glad I'm not that young anymore"
But then had a quick flashback of me with bright eyeshadow, jelly bracelets up my arm and wearing bright stripped toe socks with shorts and flip flops. Oh, no...I was one of them before!

Everytime I find myself saying "Kids these days..." or when Im listening to the radio and I say "OMG I love that song!!" and then realize im listening to the 90's "flashback".
When people ask you what you want for Christmas and you ask for things like vacuum cleaners.
I asked for a vacuum for Xmas one year and my mom's friend told her she couldn't buy me one because it wasn't a thoughtful gift or whatever. My mom finally called me and asked me and I was like, yeah, I would much rather have a vacuum than 2 more sweaters, I need a vacuum, not a sweater.
Also, lol at the you must be born before blank date. That does make me feel old!
when you say " What the He** is this on the radio?"
This made me smile. Totally me. I remember when my parents used to comment on the music I liked and I would get mad. Now when I hear the crap on the radio I can't stand it.
When you dont get carded at the liquor store anymore, and when you are at a bar and you fight the urge to go up to 'kids' and ask to see their ID because there is NO way they're 21 -- the look 16!!
You go out to dinner with 7 other people and you and DH are the only ones who aren't asked for ID when ordering a drink (everyone else was 30 or under). I usually get asked but it's not 100% of the time anymore
Re: You know you are old when...
When you walk into your favorite pub/ bar and feel like the "motherly" figure.
And when I was younger, I was fearless. Now I am fearful.
When I read through magazines and think to myself
"Who the hell is One Direction?"
And you think, "they are BAAAABIES!"
I thought they were 12...

Oh this. This makes me feel ancient! At this point it's already the mid-90s!
