Fever?

LO came home from daycare with a fever (101). I gave him some tylenol. He's been congested/had a runny nose for a couple days. He was treated for an ear infection a couple weeks ago and he's pulling at his ear again now.  I can take him to the pedi in the am.  I'm going to take his temp again before bed, but my question is....when your LO has a fever do you wake them during the night to check it? or wait to check if they wake up? or go in and see if they feel hot (although he's hot all the time).  This is our first fever :(

    I don't wake him to check it.  If he's sleeping, I don't want to disturb him.  If he wakes in the middle of the night, I will give him Motrin then if needed (along with something to drink).

    I do tend to sneak in and see if he feels hot.

    I don't wake him at night to check.  I have checked his temp at night a few times with our temporal thermometer and luckily he has slept right through it.
