I took a tour of a prospective school for DS today and most of the kids' names were listed in the halls outside the rooms (either in a list or on artwork). Outside of the K room, I saw Waveland. That's a new one for me!

I'm guessing it's a girl and probably a family name? But who knows!

I live in Chicago so all I can think of is waveland ave. It's right next to wrigley field. Maybe there cubs fans? Haha either way it's not a good name, maybe for a dog.

That's the 1st thing I thought of. Addison or Clark would have been better options in that case!

Wow! This is a strange name! I hope it is honoring in some way because if they chose it because they liked it, I feel even worse for the kid.
