BuyBuyBaby, you stink.

SIL is pregnant (AND coming to visit tomorrow...please save me now) and her shower is in a few weeks and H and I won't be attending since it's back in our hometown.  She is registered at PBK and BBB, and since I can't afford to get a bunch of stuff off her registry from PBK, we bought a few things from BBB.  I had it shipped to me and I was going to wrap it all pretty and ship it to the IL's house since that's where they're hosting the shower.  Well, I get the order, and one of the darn SwaddleMe wraps has a GIANT stain across the front!  GAH!  I don't have enough time to ship it back for a return, so I have to trek to the closest BBB (45 minutes away) to try and find one in the same color w/o a stain.  Grr.  No point to this post other than to b!tch and moan :P

Re: BuyBuyBaby, you stink.

  • That sucks! I've never been to BBB but I've heard about it on here. That would have sucked if they would have shipped it straight to her with the stain.

  • You should complain to them at the store and try to get a discount! They're usually pretty good there. They let me use the 20% coupon on my bugaboo stroller even though bugaboo is an excluded brand.

This is totally a good case for 'complain and get free stuff'.  The trick is to be nice, but a biotch at the same time.

You don't want to piss off the manager off but you want to convey your displeasure.

    Its a delicate art, Padawan.

  • Ugh! That's so weird and gross. I hope they don't give you any problems with returning it.

Agreed.  I've pretty much perfected this.  Make sure they know you are a frequent shopper (even if you aren't), have adorable baby on your hip, pepper in the word "disappointed" as often as possible.
