3 year old cough and runny nose

Hi--does anyone know what (if anything) I can give my 3 year old for a cough and runny nose? if no OTC, any homeopathic stuff?  Any 1/2 doses of otc meds? The doc is so backed up they haven't called me back

    Chicken soup, rest, lots of fluid and extra hugs and cuddle time.  No OTC meds are recommended for a cold in a 3 year old.

    We give a teaspoon of honey at bedtime to help with coughs, but otherwise, nothing.

    Our pedi started allowing us to give DD Delsym for a cough since she was 2yrs old.  2.5mL and it does help.  GL!
