Hip Pain

Hey everyone!

During my pregnancy I experienced hip pain especially on my right side. I asked my OB/GYN about it and she said that my hips were expanding that's why they hurt. I had a fairly easy delivery and now almost 3 months later the hip pain is back! Is it because my hips are shifting back into pre pregnancy position? Has anyone else experience this?

    I had sciatica pain when I was pregnant, really just in 2nd tri. I've had it once since then, but that was after a long car trip. So it's from your hips expanding and not sciatica?

    I had terrible hip pain after my first pregnancy.  It lasted a couple of years but eventually went away.  I know that's not very encouraging!  I went to the doctor and they said it was hip bursitis....not sure if it was related to my pregnancy and delivery, or just a coincidence .

    I read up on that and that's what I thought I had but then my dr said that my hip ligaments were expanding, so would they hurt when they shrink? I didn't think so lol. I'll def look into that, thanks!
