sitting in grocery cart?

I'm so ready to be able to do this! she sits well...but falls over after a while. So you think I could put her in the seat and just surround her with blankets or something? I have one of those covers for the seat that I'll use

    Blankets might work. I would just have to see how it works. I am ready to be able to sit my LO in the cart. It will make shopping alot easier. Let me know if it works.

    I don't know what cover you have but the one I have as straps that go over his shoulders and around his waist and snap in the middle of his belly. Those straps prevent him from tipping over.

    So if you have something like that then you should be fine.

    Michael's not quite there yet, but when John was little, I used an Eddie Bauer cover that had straps, put my purse on one side, and a blanket on the other, but he still tipped to the side often!

    DS just started sitting in the car seat, too. I read to grab a roll of paper towels at the store to put on both sides. I was at the craft store and grabbed a bag of shredded paper for one side and had my purse on th either side of him.

    Anything'll do- as long as they don't topple over. And, the bonus of grabbing in store is it's less stuff to pack/carry. Just put it back when you're done or give it to the cashier and say you don't need it :)
