Dr sick . . . but got to see nurse!

Yesterday afternoon my OB office called me and said the dr had to cancel my u/s appointment for this afternoon and reschedueld for next week. I lost it and broke down into tears. DH calmed me down and called first thing this morning. The nurse made special arrangements to see us this morning to do an u/s to ease my mind. We heard the heartbeat, saw it flicker and saw baby! It was such an amazing thing! We also get to do it all over again next week with the dr and she didn't even charge us for today! She will be getting a thank you card and Starbucks card at the next appointment because she made my day. I am so relieved and so happy to finally feel like this is our take home baby.
